Travis Durr Training Center is centrally located in the midlands region of South Carolina. We are nestled in on 160 acres of beautiful rolling pasture land and gorgeous tall pines.
Our paddocks are shaded by lovely oaks and sycamores. The mild climate is very conducive to year-round training. The location provides easy access to nearby Interstate 26 and Interstate 95. Please take a closer look at our website to see the many features offered here.
Rest, Rehabilitation, Rejuvenation
Our rehab and layup program offers a swim facility, safe and shady paddocks, open-air barns, ample turnouts with grazing, an 8-horse equicizer, and state-of-the-art therapies along with a mild South Carolina climate. Our experienced staff will aid in getting your horse ready to go back to the races.
The Racetrack
The racetrack is arguably the most important part of the training center. We offer a 7/8 mile irrigated dirt track, a 3/4-mile turf gallop, and a 1/2-mile wooded track.
Our team is very particular about the track; we work the track every two to three sets. We want to provide a good and level surface for every horse to train on. This helps prevent injuries to the horses while training.
